Here's how Movin for Life works. RFID scanners (similar to scanners found at the grocery store) are placed at strategic locations (to avoid distracting fellow employees) inside company buildings where employee/participants, having been issued their own personalized bar code, move from scanner to scanner. The scanners read their bar code and gives them credit for the distances traveled.
