P.A.R.S. uses a combination of the P.A.R.S. software and X10 hardware to control the flow of electricity to designated TV and video consoles throughout the house. Connecting the X10 Transmitter automatically transforms the P.A.R.S. software's "Use My Points" page into an easy to use control panel for the child to "spend" P.A.R.S. Points to turn on an entertainment device such as a TV or video monitor. The parent can control the setup from the "Manage Points" page. P.A.R.S. software and X10 hardware work together to control the availability of electricity and do it safely, remotely and automatically.

The P.A.R.S. User Guide explains the X10 system. The guide is available at both the NewWayFitness.com website and in the P.A.R.S. software.

The X10 hardware consists of one Model CM15A X10 Transmitter, one AM466 X10 Appliance Module for each TV, Video game or computer monitor to be controlled, and one TM751 X10 Mini Transceiver to relay commands on the alternate electrical phase in your home to any Appliance Module that is not responding properly to the Transmitter.

X10 Computer Interface Transmitter
CM15A ($49.99)

Connecting the X10 Computer Interface Transmitter to your PC instantly turns your P.A.R.S. software into an easy to use electricity control panel. If your child needs additional activity encouragement, through the use of Reward Points the P.A.R.S. software remotely and automatically turns electricity on and off for stereos, televisions, computers and video consoles that are connected to the X10 Appliance Modules.

X10 Appliance Module
AM466 ($13.99)

Control electriciy flow to stereos, televisions, computers and video consoles with the X10 Appliance Module. Just plug an appliance into the appliance module, and plug the appliance module into any normal grounded wall socket. Based on reward points the X10 Tranceiver sends control command signals to the applicance module, which turns electricity on or off. The X10 Appliance Module is rated at 15 amps, 1/3 hp, 500W.

X10 Mini Transceiver
TM751 ($12.99)

The X10 Mini Transceiver receives control commands via radio frequency through the air from the X10 Transmitter. It then relays the control commands to X10 Appliance Modules, avoiding the need for control commands to cross problematic house wire phases at the electrical circuit box. It also decreases the chances that line noise will disrupt the signals.

All X10 hardware purchases come with a 30 day full refund policy from X10.
